Help Fight Childhood Illiteracy with the Click of Your Mouse

Just one mouse click can bring the Community Learning Center (CLC) of Tampa Bay closer to a $10,000 prize. A couple more clicks can bring them a lot closer. The reason is because they are the charity of choice for marketing giant PostcardMania as they compete in the Tampa Bay Business Journals Social Madness contest, sponsored by Capital One Spark Business.
Over the next few weeks, PostcardMania will compete in a variety of matchups as they try to work their way through the Social Madness Bracket (similar to college basketballs March Madness). If they are successful in their first round regional, they would move out of the regionals and into the national bracket, where they would complete head-to-head with other businesses from around the country. It appears almost certain that they will advance to the national bracket. A winner from each category will be crowned in September.
Well, this is really a win-win-win situation for us, says Joy Gendusa, Founder and CEO of PostcardMania. By competing, we are not only increasing awareness of our own business and honing our social media skills, we are actually increasing awareness of the Community Learning Center and potentially getting them a huge boost in funding.
