We purchased 6,000 “jumbo” post cards to be sent to the same 2,000 people 3 times. I was reluctant to start this campaign in the dead of winter and I was pleasantly surprised. We received about 26 leads and had a great close ratio of 65%. Our total sales were about $30,000.00 with several sales pending.
We had a tremendous response to our mailing (so much that our expanded parking lot needs to be expanded again). Since the postcard had an extended time frame to purchase, I believe that we will be experiencing even more new customers through the spring gardening season.

Hey Stephanie, As of today we've gotten 11 appointments and have sold 2 really nice size projects, and two other average size. One project is still a work in progress, but should be to the tune of $15 - $20K; the 2nd around $10K. We are so excited to see this many results this soon!
The last postcard mailing you did we generated $100,000 ++ worth of revenue!!!
Every time we send 5,000 postcards we get about 15 responses and I can sell about 12 of those people. That ends up being about $100,000 in sales. This last mailing was 12,000 postcards mailing 2,000 every 2 weeks. After the first 4,000 I had to call in to tell her to stop mailing as I had too many customers and I had sold too many jobs already!
We get an immediate response, approximately 5 calls per day from a 300/week card mailing. Given that any sale is approximately $2000 - $35000, I consider this a good investment.
We generated $108,000 from our postcard mailings!
