Tippytotshoes is an online luxury toddler shoe retailer stationed in Collierville, Tennessee. They were looking for a creative way to let parents know about their products so they contacted PostcardMania for ideas.
They decided on a direct mail marketing campaign bundled with Google, Instagram and Facebook advertising in our Everywhere Small Business package. You can see those advertisements above. As you’ll notice, these ads are all coordinated — that’s to ensure your ads are maximizing the impact they have prospects and actually overcome the ad blindness that so many consumers have built up. One of the biggest contributors to this campaign’s success was the specificity of their mailing lists. Their products are only for a certain age range, so their mailing list was composed only of households with infants and toddlers ages new born to 3 years old. In addition, since they’re a luxury brand, they needed to ensure that the recipient’s parents had the means to invest in a shoe that their child would quickly grow out of. So, they also made sure to target homes with a minimum household income of $75,000. And finally, to increase foot traffic, they also mailed to several Tennessee zip codes.
183 orders and $15,000 in revenue!
Tippytotshoes received 183 orders during the times the postcards landed. This generated them over $15,000! They also had over 25,000 visitors come to the website during that time.
