The Situation

NC Land and Home is a real estate company that provides buyers and sellers with both land and residential real estate services. They were looking for a creative way to let landowners know about their services so they contacted PostcardMania for ideas.

The Solution

Our design team has a trove of successful real estate campaigns from which they can draw inspiration. Many of those designs largely feature a quick cash offer and an easy selling process. This design plays to those key elements.

NC Land and Home’s postcard design includes several key features, such as:

  • An extremely simplistic design that draws a parallel to how easy it is to sell your land with them.
  • Variable data for a more personalized experience. (More on this below!)
  • Multiple ways to contact them giving the recipient more flexibility in how they reach out.

What do we mean by variable data? You can see on their design in the top right portion of this page where the text is highlighted pink — that is where the tag <<NAME>> would be replaced with each individual recipient’s name. <<TOWN>> would be replaced with the location of their property. For example, this is what would actually be printed:

Sarah, are you thinking of selling your land in Boone?

Jordan, are you thinking of selling your land in Asheville?

So far, they’ve mailed 2,000 postcards to vacant landowners throughout North Carolina with more mailings already lined up.

The Results

Expecting $15,000 in revenue!

NC Land and Home received 4 responses (and counting) from just one mailing. These listings generated their agency an expected $15,000. The campaign only cost $1,359 so far, resulting in a 1004% return on their investment!
