The Situation

Don Ballo of Ballo & Associates Insurance wanted to bring in more Medicare clients throughout Florida and needed a good way to invite locals to his educational seminar/dinner in Bonita Springs, FL. He contacted PostcardMania to create a postcard invitation that would attract the right clients and generate revenue.

The Solution

PostcardMania designed a 6” x 11” postcard that included the following features:

  • Personalization: the card included the first name of the recipient to grab his/her attention
  • Offers for a free dinner and door prizes
  • A list of benefits for the attendee
  • A bright and friendly design that included photos and colors pleasing to the eye
  • Easy-to-read details on the back

We mailed out 5,171 postcards between April 18th and May 2nd 2022 to a mailing list of men and women who turned 65 between July 2021 and January 2022. The postcards were sent out prior to his event on May 11th.

The Results

He made $66,000 in profits!

The postcard invitation brought in 44 attendees to the educational seminar/dinner! Thirty-three of them became new clients, which generated Ballo & Associates Insurance $66,000 in revenue.

Due to the fact that Don Ballo selected the largest size postcard, added personalized details like their names to the invitation, and added in free offers to entice recipients, his direct mail marketing campaign was successful. Considering that he only spent $2,253 on these postcards, Don received a huge return on his investment at 2,829%!
