The Situation
Jon Ambach started his pressure washing and holiday lighting business, Bright Choice, in 2021 in San Antonio, TX. He had worked in corporate America for 10 years and wanted to do something different with his career.
At first, he tried all kinds of digital marketing, like Facebook ads, Google ads, Yelp and more. However, a majority of those online ads didn’t deliver the revenue he was looking for, so Jon decided to try direct mail.
The Solution

Bright choice advertised their pressure washing services throughout the year and also their holiday lighting installations during the holiday season. Initially, they started out only mailing postcards, and then after a couple of mailings they decided to add matching digital ads with an Everywhere Small Business Platinum plan.
Their direct mail campaigns targeted wealthy homeowners in the local area. Jon decided to get as specific as possible and included the type of roofs on the homes and ages of homeowners in order to find the most ideal customers.
One of their most successful marketing campaigns included 15,756 postcards and they generated $41,000 in revenue. Since they invested $9,629, their return on investment amounts to 327%!

They doubled the size of their business and hired more staff!
The additional business they have received from these mailers has helped them double the size of their business. Jon also hired more people to help with the additional work.
