The Situation

William Vinson started his own cleaning business, Golden Standard Services, in Haines City, FL in March of 2022.

He decided to get into the pressure washing industry because he noticed the potential for recurring customers and had the goal of financial freedom. At first, William tried SEO, Google ads, and social media ads, but mostly his business came from referrals. Golden Standard Services mailed 6,000 postcards to a business mailing list that targeted small-size restaurants in the Polk County, FL with 300 or fewer employees and likely needed their exhaust hoods cleaned. The postcard mailings were split up into three mailings over 4 months.

The Results

They gained 22 new customers and will generate $41,000 annually because of this new business!

Golden Standard Services heard back from 33 restaurants and converted 22 of them. So far they have generated $11,550 in revenue, and they expect these new customers to bring in about $41,000 in annual revenue because each cleaning is $525 and they are on a routine cleaning schedule throughout the year.

Since they invested $3,581 on this direct mail marketing campaign, their return on investment amounts to an expected 1,044% in a year’s time.

William feels his direct mail marketing campaign was so successful because of the mailing list and demographics provided by PostcardMania and the amazing design they did on the postcard. Since Golden Standard Services has been generating more revenue with the postcard mailings, they’ve expanded their marketing budget and also plan on hiring another crew to keep up with the demand.

Overall, his favorite aspect of working with PostcardMania was the quality customer service because they were very responsive. William plans on continuing his mailer marketing campaign in the future and expects to grow even more!
