The Situation

Oak Tree Dental is a dental practice serving the families of McLean, VA and the Washington, D.C. area. They called PostcardMania for help creating a steady stream of new patients to their office.

The Solution

After talking with one of our marketing consultants, Oak Tree Dental decided to run a 6-month postcard campaign that would saturate the area around their practice.

Their consultant, who had already overseen more than 250 dental marketing campaigns, was able to offer suggestions for a successful design, including:

  • A clean, bright color scheme and image that immediately convey DENTAL
  • A sub headline and bullet-pointed text that makes their card easy to read
  • A valuable offer (or three!) with an expiration date that encourages recipients to make an appointment
  • A map and photo of the office that help create a sense of familiarity and comfort with their prospective patients

Oak Tree Dental sent out 10,500 postcards per month via Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) to save money on postage while reaching a broad audience. With EDDM, your postcards reach every household along specific mail carrier routes, so its a good way to blanket an entire area with your message. Its also an inexpensive way to do it! With EDDM, the postal service has less sorting to do, so they pass the savings on to you with lower postage rates!

The Results

10-15 new patients per mailing!
