The Situation
Summit Smiles Dental is a successful dental office based in Aurora, Colorado. Opening in the fall of 2013, they started off small with their marketing efforts, mailing out a few postcards to members of the surrounding community. Unsatisfied with their results, Dr. Eric Wolfe, the owner of Summit Smiles Dental, contacted PostcardMania’s marketing services for further assistance.
The Solution
Design: Two direct mail postcard marketing campaigns that targeted a list of residents close to the address of the dental practice. The card includes:
- Professionally designed graphics and formatting, making the card accessible and eye-catching.
- An image of Dr. Wolfe and his family, reinforcing the practice’s focus on providing quality care for local residents and their families.
- Multiple offers on the card for free or discounted services, giving the recipient more incentive to respond to the postcard.
Mailing List:
First campaign – Targeted the closest 18,000 residents to the practice.
Second campaign – Expanded the target market to the 31,000 closest residents to the practice.
The Results
the number of new patients increased even further to about 42 new patients per month!
For their first campaign in 2014, Summit Smiles Dental saw the number of new patients per month increase from 10 to 15 patients to an incredible 20 to 30 patients. In 2016, after deciding to make their marketing more internet-based and to switch to another direct mail company, Summit Smiles Dental saw an immediate decrease in the number of patients they were receiving a month. They teamed up with PostcardMania again to solve this problem, and the number of new patients increased even further to about 42 new patients per month!
