Design:
This site uses a very appropriate color scheme. As an eco-friendly pressure washing company, Green Under Pressure’s homepage is laid out with a blue background accented by green trim. It features pictures on every page, which is great for engaging visitors. The pictures of the employees working are especially effective for building trust in prospects. They also have a great logo, which is a water drop with a green leaf inside. The water drop is encircled by recycling arrows, blue on top and green on bottom.

Marketing:
Here are 3 great marketing aspects of this site:

1. Anticipating and relieving hesitations ― Green Under Pressure does a great job of anticipating prospect hesitations. They get out in front of these hesitations and address them on their website. They have a FAQ page and they discuss specific cases in their services page. This goes a long way to building trust with prospects.

2. Well-placed information form ― Green Under Pressure features their information form on the left side of the screen. That means it’s most likely going to be the first thing prospects read when visiting the site. They keep the form in that location no matter what page you visit.

3. Contact information presented often ― On most pages they have their contact information with a call-to-action presented at the top and bottom of the page. It’s great to keep that information in front of visitors as much as possible.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization):
SEO is the practice of optimizing the copy on your website so that search engines can understand what your website is about and how they should rank it for particular keywords. This site is optimized for the words eco-friendly pressure washing. If a prospect types “environmentally friendly pressure washing” or “eco-friendly pressure washing” into Google. The search engine will direct prospects towards sites companies like Green Under Pressure’s, because their website was designed with Google’s search format in mind.

Copywriting:
The copy for this site is professional and direct, but it has a very personal style. When you read their homepage, services, and about us, you don’t feel like you’re being advertised to. They present the benefits of their methods and their services clearly in an accessible and genuine tone.

Programming:
Programming is a tough one to judge, because you only really notice the programming when it isn’t working properly. It is nonetheless very important, and I didn’t encounter any difficulties when navigating the site. In fact, I liked the way the FAQ page collapsed the questions you aren’t reading. This allows the visitor to focus on the answers they are seeking.

Shannon
