Serengeti Care is an in-home assisted living service located in Spokane, WA. They were looking for an efficient way to let wealthy seniors know about their services so they contacted PostcardMania for ideas.
The Solution
Working together with PostcardMania’s experts, they decided on a targeted postcard campaign. Their postcard featured imagery of a caretaker and happy senior, a common item to include in assisted living campaigns.
Serengeti Care’s postcard design included:
- A headline that communicates all COVID-19 regulations are being followed, giving the recipient confidence in their services
- An offer for a free consultation visit
- A bulleted list of the services offered
Because in-home assisted living care can be expensive, they needed to target seniors that could afford their services. So, our experts recommended a mailing list of people aged 75+ with a home market value of $350,000+ in Spokane so their messaging reached truly the most qualified leads rather than wasting some of the budget on reaching unqualified households.
In addition, the 12,000 cards they bought were mailed 4x to the same list. We always recommend repetition and while 12,000 is a larger net, it’s better to invest in a consistent campaign that appeals to a smaller audience with a stronger, more consistent reach that will actually gain traction and attention rather than a single shotgun approach.
