The postcard used a blue color scheme (no surprise for the pool industry). They broke the card up by using wavy lines to create a lighter blue middle section with crystal clear pool water as a background. They showed an image of a beach ball on the right side and featured the services they offer in the middle section. This design reminded recipients of what a valuable asset their pool is and showed them how they could keep it in peak condition.

The Situation

AAA Pools is a pool and spa company located in Marietta, Georgia. The goal of their marketing efforts was two-fold: attract new customers and retain existing customers. So, we worked with them to discover the best way to achieve those results in their particular situation.

The Solution

AAA Pool and Spa chose a striking postcard that highlighted their services and current specials. The bold color in this card allowed it to grab attention and the clear, bulleted copy relayed the message immediately.

Here are the results from the campaign, in the clients own words: This round of postcards is producing solid results. We have set up quite a few jobs for customers from our normal database. We have also added quite a few new customers from our newest mailing list. The postcards have produced quite a bit more money than they cost to mail already and it is very early in our season. We anticipate quite a few more calls in response to our latest mailing. We have received about twenty calls from new clients, with nine or ten new jobs resulting.
