The Situation

Lori Wright was running for Tulsa City Council for a second term in Oklahoma. She was looking for a creative way to let voters know about her candidacy so she contacted PostcardMania for ideas.

The Solution

She decided on a postcard marketing campaign that would target the citizens of her city. It featured a call to action to vote, a common feature among many of our previous successful political direct mail marketing campaigns.

Wright for Tulsa’s postcard design included:

  • A professional headshot for the recipient to put a face to a name
  • Her previous accomplishments as a city councilwoman to build credibility
  • A paragraph detailing more personal details of her life, making her campaign feel more human

Because Lori Wright was a Tulsa City Council candidate, she needed to make sure her postcards reached Tulsa voters. So, her mailing list was able to hyper-target only those that would be able to make an impact in the election.

The Results

She won her seat! Again!!

She was reelected!
