The Situation

This manufacturing company (who have asked that their name not be mentioned) manufactures custom products from flexible plastic materials and fibers. They had a goal of one new client per month over the course of a year. After hearing about the success other companies have had with postcard marketing, they decided to call PostcardMania to help achieve (and maybe even surpass) their goal!

The Solution

For starters, their postcard marketing consultant helped them come up with a design that would be effective for their campaign. Here are some key elements:

For the postcard mailing, they purchased a list of 4,000 records consisting of businesses in certain industries and their top contact (the president, CEO, etc.). Theyre still in the midst of their campaign, and the plan all along has been to mail monthly to 1,000 records on the list 10 times. This allows them to hit every contact in their list once every quarter.

The Results

This company originally had a goal of 1 new client a month, over the course of their 1 year direct mail campaign (12 new clients.) With 2 months still to go, theyve already surpassed that goal with 14 new clients and over $13k in income!
