Logan Boyer with Timely Seasons Lawn Care needed to bring in more landscaping jobs for his business, so he reached out to PostcardMania to start direct mail marketing.

The Solution

PostcardMania designed a 6.25 x 8.5 inch postcard that included the following features:

  • An offer of 10% off a first service and a free quote
  • A list of benefits and services on the back of the card, such as removing the headache of lawn upkeep and boosting home value
  • A strong call to action
  • Beautiful imagery of landscapes and a big and bold headline on the front of the card

Timely Seasons Lawn Care mailed out 4,052 postcards to an Every Door Direct Mail list that targeted local homeowners who may need regular lawn care. The cards were mailed on a monthly mailing schedule in quantities of about 2,000 pieces.

The Results

They gained 16 new customers and generated $9,600 in revenue!

As a result, Timely Seasons Lawn Care received 30 responses and converted 16 of them to new customers. Each customer generates about $600, and the lifetime value of one customer is $3,600 so in total they generated $9,600 and expect to bring in $57,600. Their return on investment (ROI) amounted to 303% with an anticipated ROI of 2,316%.
