The Situation

The Senior Resource Center in Pinson, AL, offers counseling and supplemental insurance to seniors and disabled people who use Medicare for their health insurance needs. They contacted PostcardMania for help reaching out to people who could use their services and expertise.

The Solution

With the help of our marketing consultants, the Senior Resource Center created a campaign that would target seniors about to turn 65, who would likely need assistance navigating their Medicare options.

Heres why it was so successful:

  • The bright red, yellow and white color scheme helped the piece stand out in the mail
  • The folding postcard gave recipients two options: either call for a consultation OR tear off half the card, fill it out and send it back
  • The offer of a FREE Medicare consultation appeals to people who are new to the program
  • The inside of the card uses benefits to tell recipients what theyre offering in terms of what they can do for THEM and a guarantee that they will have all of their questions answered!

The Senior Resource Center purchased a mailing list of 2,500 records of seniors whose 65th birthdays were approaching, and mailed the card to each prospect twice.

The Results

$4,000 in immediate revenue

The postcard got 20 responses for the Senior Resource Center, and those leads generated $4,000 in revenue and thats not even considering potential future policies and referrals!
