The Situation
Country Farms is a local market featuring seasonal produce located in Edmonds, Washington. They were looking for a creative way to let nearby residents know about their location so they contacted PostcardMania for help.
The Solution
They decided on a direct mail marketing campaign bundled with Google, Instagram and Facebook advertising in our Everywhere Small Business package. You can see those advertisements above. As you’ll notice, these ads are all coordinated — that’s to ensure your ads are maximizing the impact they have on prospects and actually overcome the ad blindness that so many consumers have built up. (We see millions of ads every day and our subconscious is getting really good at blocking them!)
Country Farms’ design included:
- A headline that immediately communicates what they’re trying to sell
- Pictures of bright, succulent fruits and vegetables that reinforce the headline’s message
- An offer of 10% off when you spend $25 or more
The biggest contributor to this campaign’s success was the fact that they integrated their direct mail with digital advertising. After receiving the postcard in the mail and visiting their website, every repeated follow up ad exposure helps cement Country Farms’ advertising in the recipient’s head; thus, making them more likely to stop in for a visit.
The Results
At least 150 new customers!

Country Farms said that over 150 coupons were used! This might not even be all of the results, as many recipients may have come in and not spent enough money to use the coupon. In addition, they also saw a major increase in traffic to their website.
