Honolulu Financial Partners is a wealth and investment management firm, serving individuals who are at or near retirement both locally and around the country. They came to PostcardMania because they needed a creative way to advertise to families in the area about their free educational seminar about protecting yourself from identity theft, scams and financial fraud.

The Solution

With the help of our marketing consultants, Honolulu Financial Partners settled on a direct mail campaign that targeted households with an income of $100k+, ages 50+ and a specified zip code.

Honolulu Financial Partner’s postcard design included a number of successful elements like:

  • A headline that immediately communicates the card’s message.
  • The Honolulu Police logo, letting the viewer know that the police will be there as a speaker.
  • A clear distinction that this event is free.

The Results

Half of the attendees came from the postcard they received!

Between both days, they had a total of 10 “households” from the card attend the seminar! It was a 2-day event, which only allowed 10 households per day.
