The Situation

Solar Energy Partners offers free renewable energy inspections for homeowners in the Long Beach, CA area. They needed a way to advertise their services to more people, so they tried postcard marketing.

The Solution

Solar Energy Partners mailed 32,581 postcards to residents in the Long Beach, CA area in batches of 2,000, every week, between July 2021 and April 2022. They used a resident/occupant list, which targeted residents in the Long Beach area.

The card included a notification that the recipient could claim their free renewable energy inspection and a phone number for them to call and schedule it. The phone number and the word “notification” were very large on the card to attract recipients’ attention and cause them to take action.

The Results

325 people responded and they converted 65 of them!

Since Solar Energy Partners has received such a great response from the postcards, they have continued direct mail marketing and have ordered another 140,000 cards! They are excited to see even greater results from their marketing with PostcardMania in the future.
