Petersen Adventist School in Columbus, WI wanted to enroll new students, so they contacted PostcardMania for their marketing needs.

The Solution

PostcardMania created a 6 x 8.5 inch postcard that included the following features:

  • A list of great features of the school, like a small class size and technology programs
  • A QR code that takes the recipient straight to their website when scanned
  • A sleek and simple design that gets their message across immediately

Petersen Adventist School mailed a total of 5,000 postcards split into 2 mailings of 2,500 pieces using a consumer mailing list that targeted families with children in the home ages 5-14 years old and living within a 12-mile radius around the school.

They also signed up for an Everywhere Small Business plan that included digital ads on Facebook, Instagram, and Google. The digital ads looked similar to the postcard design and targeted the same types of individuals who received the postcard.

The Results

The postcard brought in $20,000 in revenue!

Petersen Adventist School’s digital ad campaign performed very well. The Google ads made 145,574 impressions and resulted in 601 clicks while the Facebook/Instagram ads made 12,468 impressions and resulted in 197 clicks.

As a result, Petersen Adventist School received four responses and signed up one new student generating $20,000 in revenue. With an upfront investment of $3,854, they were able to achieve a good return on their investment of 419%!
