The Situation

For over 30 years, ABC Spectrum Preschool has provided Manalapan, New Jersey and the surrounding area with preschool and education services. With summer fast approaching, ABC Spectrum chose PostcardMania to create a marketing campaign that would increase enrollment in their summer camp program.

The Solution

To ensure the best response possible, PostcardMania set up ABC Spectrum with DirectMail2.0 for their marketing campaign. DirectMail2.0 maximizes marketing efforts by combining direct mail, mail tracking, phone call tracking, and a built-in online follow-up system to generate more, higher quality leads. With their DirectMail2.0 campaign in mind, we provided ABC Spectrum with a list of 2,700 prospects from the surrounding areaconsumers aged 24-51 who make $100K+ and have children between the ages 0-6.

For the direct mail portion of ABC Spectrums campaign, we designed a postcard that includes a picture of a young child on the front which helps to immediately remind the prospects of the services offered. On the reverse side of the postcard is a list of features and a map. This pared down design helps deliver the message without distractions.

The Results

All 2,700 postcards were mailed out at one time and from that, ABC Spectrum preschool received 41 unique phone calls which resulted in 8 new students.With the cost of 1 year of preschool in New Jersey averaging out at around $10,000, it means they generated $80,000 in extra income from only one round of marketing! Add in the referrals theyre sure to generate from these families as well as the likelihood of those same children sticking around through kindergarten, and their return of $80,000 multiplies quickly!
