The Situation

Bismarck Dentistry is a general dentist located in Bismarck, North Dakota. They were looking for a creative way to let locals know about their services so they contacted PostcardMania for ideas.

The Solution

They decided on a direct mail campaign that targeted nearby residents. Bismarck Dentistry took a unique approach and advertised a virtual tour of their facility to help comfort those affected by the pandemic.

Bismarck Dentistry’s postcard design also included:

  • Icons of their social media accounts adjacent to their logo, giving the recipient a way to look into their company
  • A picture of their facility
  • An offer for an in-office courtesy dental plan, coaxing people to come into the office

They decided on an Every Door Direct Mail campaign which dropped mail in every mailbox along several routes in Bismarck’s zip code. While we don’t usually recommend EDDM campaigns for dentists since they lack precise targeting, Bismarck is the densely populated capital of North Dakota, so it made sense for their campaign and save some money on postage.

The Results

Bismarck Dentistry pulled in 67 new patients! The special they were running for the campaign generated approximately $17,152. This number doesn’t account for any procedures done outside of the special for those patients, so there is DEFINITLY more unrecorded revenue.
