They also signed up for DirectMail2.0, which allowed them to see when their prospects would receive their postcards as well as track every single call generated by the postcards — even the ones they may have missed. And with DirectMail2.0, prospects who went to Top Down’s website were then shown an online follow-up ad after they left the site to keep holiday cleaning services top-of-mind with prospects. Here’s what made their postcard design effective:

Top Down purchased a mailing list of 1,250 highly targeted prospects from PostcardMania. First, they searched for single-family homeowners with an annual income of $125,000 or more within 30 miles of their business. From there, they narrowed their list to homes with a pool and a minimum of 3,000 square feet that were valued at $250,000 or more.

With such a targeted mailing list, they were able to reach prospects who would be interested and qualified to use their service. They sent their postcard to the list twice to increase their visibility — and their results!

Along with the two postcard mailings, Top Down Exterior’s online ad was shown to an incredible 127,111 prospects all over the web via Google’s ad network.
