The Situation
Rob Nestore decided to start a childcare cleaning company, Daycare Cleaning Services, in 2001 in Cherry Hill, NJ. He wanted to grow the business from just a side job to a full-fledged, full-time business, so he started looking for the right marketing strategy.

- A QR code that when scanned goes to their website for more information
- Friendly photos of their staff to help increase trust with the recipient
- A list of benefits on the back of the card
- Offers for a free cleaning for new customers and a back-to-school special discount
Since 2016, Daycare Cleaning Services has consistently mailed postcards to residents in their local area. To date, they have done 120 mailings, which amounts to 325,000 postcards. Primarily, they targeted childcare centers and preschools that would need their cleaning services.
The Results
They have made $1.5 million in revenue from mailing consistently!
Daycare Cleaning Services said that for every 6,000 postcards they mail, they average about 15-20 responses and roughly 4 convert. As a result of running a consistent direct mail marketing campaign, they have generated $1.5 million.
