The Situation

Eastern Truck & Accessories is an automotive accessories company located in Norfolk, VA. They were hosting an open house event to celebrate their 20th anniversary, connect with their customers, and raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), so they came to PostcardMania to get help raising awareness about the event.

The Solution

PostcardMania designed a 6 x 8.5 inch postcard that included the following features:

• A stylish and easy-to-read design so that the recipient immediately knew what the event was about
• A save the date line in the bright color red, drawing the prospect’s eyes to it
• A full description of the event on the back of the card, which included the benefits of a fun family day, raffle, and raising money for a good cause
• Two offers of a 10% coupon and a free front end alignment with the purchase of a lowering kit

Eastern Truck & Accessories mailed 10,000 postcards to their own list of customers in the local area since it was a customer appreciation event and celebration of their 20-year anniversary.

The Results

800 people attended the event, and they raised $80,000 for charity!

Their mailing brought in 800 attendees, and they raised $80,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Previously, they raised $50,000, so this time they exceed their goal!
