Your Mission
Our onsite Café is open to our staff weekdays from 8:30am–4:00pm and is an integral part of
the light and fun atmosphere at PostcardMania. We have a Chef and a Barista, and the Café
offers a variety of food and sandwiches, including healthy options.We are looking for a supervisor to manage the café who loves cooking, has hands-on kitchen
experience, and is looking for an opportunity to grow. This role includes creating weekly
menus, managing the café budget, gathering employee feedback, and shaping the café experience.We’re looking for someone who is light and fun, yet confident and capable in a kitchen setting!
Work Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
Compensation
Based on experience
Specific Responsibilities Include
- Managing the Chef, Barista, and overall café operations
- Creating weekly menus
- Gathering employee feedback and improving food quality
- Ensuring healthy, delicious meals for employees
- Catering to healthy eaters
- Food preparation and lunch service
- Grocery shopping for café ingredients
- Taking employee orders (in person and via POS system)
- Cashiering
- Ensuring café cleanliness and sanitation
- Suggesting and implementing improvements
Requirements
- Culinary experience
- Ability to make amazing meals: soups, salads, sandwiches, and various hot meals for our staff to enjoy
- Loves to create with food or baked goods
- Interest in creating recipes and meals
- Experience in food preparation
- Experience using an espresso machine and making great coffees
- Assisting with food prep
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Loves working with others and serving them with a smile
- Very easy to get along with
- Self-motivated and enjoys working independently

Drug & Nicotine Free Workplace
