The Situation

Ken’s Pool & Patio is a full-service pool company located in Milton, Washington. They wanted to generate more clients in need of a pool renovation, so they reached out to PostcardMania for assistance with their marketing.

The Solution

Ken’s Pool & Patio decided to launch an Everywhere Small Business campaign that combined direct mail and digital ads. The postcard PostcardMania designed included the following features:

  • A strong headline on the front of the card that grabs the prospect’s attention
  • An offer of a free consultation
  • A five-star review from a happy customer
  • A QR code that leads the prospect to their website
  • A list of benefits on the back of the card

They mailed 24,000 postcards total on a monthly mailing schedule. The mailing list they used targeted homes with pools and homeowners making of $75,000 a year or more. The postcards were also only mailed to owner-occupied homes.

At the same time, PostcardMania ran digital ads on Google reaching the same people also receiving their postcards in the mail.

The Results

They generated $840,000 in revenue!

As a result, they received 100 responses and converted 20 of them, which generated $840,000 in revenue. With an investment of $20,397.27, their ROI amounted to 4,018%! This direct mail campaign is not finished yet, and they have another 21,000 cards to mail. So, they are anticipating even larger results in the future.

They were so pleased with the results that they will be mailing more postcards in the spring!
