The Solution

PostcardMania designed a 6 x 8.5 inch postcard that included the following features:

  • Personalization that included the recipient’s first name
  • An offer for a free spring pool opening
  • A QR code that directed prospects to their website for more information
  • A list of benefits on the back of the card

One of Captain Pool’s initial marketing campaigns included 3,457 postcards which they mailed to a targeted mailing list of homes with pools in their local area. This particular campaign resulted in 12 responses and 9 new customers.

Since they achieved great results with PostcardMania, they decided to continue the mailings. One of their following marketing campaigns was also successful and included 3,417 postcards. This campaign resulted in 10 one-time clients and 60 repeat clients.

They generated $132,500 in revenue!

As a result, Captain Pool generated $132,500 in total revenue! Additionally, their return on investment amounted to 1,440%. Thanks to these great results, they are investing more in direct mail marketing. They have ordered 11,000 more postcards, tripling their investment in mailers!
