Showing the Love, PostcardMania Donates Postcards to Help Mend Broken Hearts

Clearwater, FL, 9 February 2009 For years now Joy Gendusa, Founder CEO of PostcardMania, has been giving back in exchange for the success she has received. Gendusa decided to set up a division within her company with the sole purpose of handling pro-bono work for non-profit organizations the only stipulation being that these organizations have the purpose of assisting mankind to improve his lot and make the world a better place.

In sync with this is Heartbeat International. Each year, more than 3,000,000 people die because they need, but cannot afford, a cardiac pacemaker. Since its inception over 20 years ago, saving lives has been the goal of Heartbeat International. With the help of a network of partners, volunteers and financial supporters, Heartbeat International secures and distributes donated pacemakers and defibrillators to needy heart patients worldwide. They are continuously mending hearts one pacemaker at a time, this Valentine’s Day and all year long!

According to Heartbeat International statistics, for every $1.00 they raise, $.93 goes directly towards saving lives around the world. Taking this ‘to heart’, Gendusa donated the postcards and mailing services for Heartbeat International’s upcoming fundraiser event in September 2009.

“There are a lot of good organizations, if given a chance, that can make a big difference,” said Gendusa. “It makes me happy that we [PostcardMania] can help them and I know it makes a difference with my staff too they are so supportive of our pro bono line. I couldn’t do it without them.”
