PostcardMania Named Inc. 5000 Company

Sept. 3, 2010 Clearwater, FL – PostcardMania once again finds themselves in select company on the Inc. 5000 list, which was recently released for 2010. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy – America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. Other national businesses gracing the list include AMC Entertainment, 7-eleven, Toys R Us, and popular music website Pandora.

The list compiles America’s fastest growing, privately held companies and is a sought-after distinction amongst entrepreneurs. The leaders of the companies on this years Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression, said Inc. president Bob LaPointe. The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs.

Founder and CEO of PostcardMania, Joy Gendusa, is honored by the award. Its a great reward for all the hard work we do around here! It means a whole lot to me, personally, to make the Inc. 5000, and I know it means a lot to my staff, too. We have some departments working literally around the clock to help other businesses succeed, so its nice to see all that work pay off.

Despite the fact that most of this years measuring period (2006-2009) took place during a recession, aggregate revenue among the companies on the list increased to $321.6 billion, up more than 50 percent from last year. With unemployment remaining stubbornly high, policymakers and business leaders will do well to look to the Inc. 5000 companies for fresh ideas on achieving growth and creating jobs.

While PostcardMania celebrates the distinction, they were quick to stress their focus is not on winning an award, but on continuing to move forward with their own business and help clients grow theirs, too. Were all thrilled to be on the list again, says Gendusa, but our goal is to be on top of the list. Thats what were working for. Hopefully, thats what well be talking about this time next year.
