The Situation
Senator Donna Frett-Gregory lives in the Virgin Islands and was up for re-election for Chair of the Committee on Budget. She wanted to let residents know about her values and goals for the community, so she reached out to PostcardMania for help with her marketing.
The Solution
PostcardMania created a large 4 x 9 inch flyer that listed all the legislation she has successfully sponsored in the Virgin Islands, as well as her future goals for improving the community. The flyer also included a professional photo of Donna and a short bio about her life and qualifications to help increase trust with her audience.
She mailed 4,000 flyers to local residents using her own list of contacts.
The Results
She was able to pass important legislation and improve her community!
After mailing out 4,000 postcards to residents, Donna was able to pass Legislation Act 8471 which establishes the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority as a public utility subject to regulation by the Public Services Commission and functions to ensure that Virgin Islanders efficient and fair public utilities.
