The Situation

Josh Terrell started his own ticket clinic business in Richmond, VA called Fix My Ticket. His goal was to help people who got traffic tickets. At first, he did a lot of online marketing himself, but he wanted to bring in more revenue so he reached out to PostcardMania for help.

The Solution

PostcardMania designed a postcard that included the following features:

  • Important information about the person’s recent traffic ticket
  • An urgent message that provokes the recipient to take action
  • A QR code that leads to a web page where the person can enroll in the class
  • The benefits of taking the course
  • Credentials of the course that helps build trust

Fix My Ticket mailed 16,000 postcards to people who recently received a traffic ticket from the police and households with children ages 15 to 17. Josh also decided to sign up for an Everywhere Small Business plan that combined online ads on Facebook, Instagram, Google, and YouTube with postcards. The mailings followed a weekly mailing schedule, and then the matching digital ads were placed in front of the same audience online to help drive more traffic to their site and convert interested targets.

The Results

They hired more staff and opened a second location because of generating more revenue from postcards and online ads.

Throughout their campaign, they have received thousands of responses. At a 5% response rate, they convert about 300 people a week. Josh said he has generated about $25,000 in revenue since launching an Everywhere Small Business plan.

Since Fix My Ticket has been generating more business, they have been able to hire more staff and open a second location!
