The Situation
Dellavecchia Dental Services is a general dental practice located in Douglas, Michigan. They were looking for a creative way to bring in more patients so they contacted PostcardMania for ideas.
The Solution
They decided on a postcard marketing campaign that targeted a nearby area. Their design featured a cool color palette, a commonality among other successful dental campaigns, since these cool colors invoke a sense of relaxation.
Dellavecchia Dental Services’ postcard design included:
- A headline that immediately communicates the card’s message
- Offers for free services
- A 5 star review from a previous client
The mailing list was the biggest factor in this campaign’s success. Our marketing consultants suggested that instead of targeting the town their practice was in, they blanket a town adjacent to theirs, which was Fennville, Michigan. This tactic paid off because they are one of the only dentists in their town, so they essentially have a dental monopoly in that area. Targeting the next town over ensured that they’d be reaching a whole fresh batch of prospects.

According to Dellavecchia Dental Services, they got a TON of new patients. So many, that they’re booked out until August of the NEXT year that the mailings went out (their one-time drop was in November)! They’re too busy to even start a new campaign as of now, but plan on using us again in the future!!
