Rapidly Growing Company – Looking for KICK ASS Graphic Designer (Night Shift)

YOUR MISSION

We are looking for a kick-ass Graphic Designer to join our ranks, someone with a proven ability to take big ideas and boil ’em down to a really catchy design that will draw positive attention.

The purpose is to create and provide quality designs or quality check the existing designs for the customer that will result in an excellent looking printed product, without errors and gets a good return on investment for our clients’ marketing efforts.

SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE

Production of aesthetic, effective designs that duplicate both the customer’s wants and good marketing; They will be both for offset and digital printing (typically variable). You are expected to keep up a steady pace of said production.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• KICK ASS graphic design skills, ensuring all technical and aesthetic elements are followed in regards to proofs and artwork. A marketing background is a plus!
• EXCELLENT grasp of Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Need to know all terms related to graphic design and the specific printing terms used here at PostcardMania.
• Able to design based off of both customer requests and copy written by our copywriters, set up proofs according to the job’s specs and our required printing specs and save jobs accordingly as well as complete other duties as assigned.
• MUST have graphic design experience, knowledge of design elements, technical elements, and be able to set up art correctly so that it will print with no errors.
• Experience in print design a must, minimum 2 years hands-on experience.
• An Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design is desirable but not required.
• Variable data knowledge and prepress experience a plus .

WORK HOURS

• This a full-time office position
• Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 11:30 pm
• 30 minutes for dinner
• Must be local to Clearwater, FL!
