More like HECK YES.
Sadly, that’s little more than a pipe dream.
While it’s true that some types of marketing are safer and more reliable than others, there’s ALWAYS risk involved. You can’t guarantee results when it comes to marketing (and if someone does, be very wary).

There is really nothing that will guarantee that you will get results, but there are a number of things that you can do regarding your direct mail campaign to optimally get the best results possible. That includes understanding which list to use, what message to put on your card, what the aesthetics should look like, and what the offer should look like. Also,
what is going to happen on the back-end.
95% of the people who are interested in your product or service are going to go to your website. You want to make sure that your website does not scare them away. Have you ever been to a website and you think, ‘I am not doing business with these people. That website is awful’. So it is important that your website looks the part, is as professional as you are. You also need to make sure that you follow up with them quickly. If somebody sends you, fills out a form on your website or calls your company, you want to make sure that there is somebody to answer their questions or give them a quote right away. Speed, speed, speed; that’s what everybody wants.
It is the ingredients that make up the card to get the very, very best response possible, then the back-end of how you are going to handle those leads when they come in, and even know if you are going to have those leads.
Always put a call tracking phone number on your card, so that you can look online and see exactly how many people actually called you and listen to those recordings, to make sure your receptionist handled them properly.
