Can’t afford to waste money on marketing?

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about an Entrepreneur Mentoring Program I wish to start. But before I move any further, I need to tell you 4 things about me I have found to be profoundly different than most small business owners I’ve met over the years.
- I increase my marketing spend when times are tougher. In 12 years, I’ve never decreased my marketing — no matter what.
- I spend more time on sales and marketing than I do administration.
- I hire people for administrative positions that are not revenue generating posts. Instead of staying up late working on the accounting or HR functions, I stayed up late figuring out how to bring in more business — and still do.
- I fully understand, without any doubt, that it takes far more out-flow (postcards, letters, emails, quotes, calls, appointments) to create the in-flow (revenue) desired than what one would ever think.
