Hey everyone! I’ve got some exciting news…
Over the next few weeks, PostcardMania is competing in Biz Journal’s “Social Madness” contest, and if we win, we get to donate $10,000 to the charity of our choice. We chose to donate this awesome grant to the Community Learning Center, a charity I love personally and help as much as I can.
Let me tell you a little about what they do… the Community Learning Center is a non-profit in the Clearwater area that helps children overcome learning struggles, which helps them do better in school and have better opportunities later in life. If you know any kids with difficulty in school you know how hard that makes their life. They are an amazing organization, and I would really like to help them in this way. This donation will help fund renovation costs for their new building which will allow them to help many more children!
The contest is set up like March Madness, but instead of winning a basketball game, we are trying to outrank our competition with our social media reach. We are in a national bracket of medium-sized businesses, and we are competing head-to-head with other businesses from now until (hopefully) September, when the winner is crowned.
I would really appreciate your help achieving this goal! It takes less than 3 minutes, and it would do a lot of good for a lot of kids. Here’s what you need to do:
