Dear Joy,
There’s a good old saying that the headline of an ad is an “ad for the ad”. In other words, no matter how good your ad copy is, without a good headline everything is meaningless. For some of us who are not creative with word smiting, do you have an advice on how to write the headline and some of the cardinal rules of writing one. If you have a book, you can suggest that would be great. I just want to learn so I can help my clients.
BTW, I was impressed with the service you guys provided on a job of one of my client. I am glad I found you guys and recommended your company to him. Keep up the good work !!
Best Regards,
Dipak

Hi Dipak,
Thanks a lot for your e-mail!
I don’t know of a specific headline book – however, the headline must be concise and immediately convey either WHAT THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE IS or WHAT PROBLEM IT SOLVES. If its too clever you will lose the attention of the viewer. If the person has to think for one second to figure out what it is you’re trying to sell it’s over.
Thank you for your lovely compliment! We will keep up the good work
Best,
Joy
